Christopher B. Hinton Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

    JACKSON, MS, November 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christopher B. Hinton, Manager of Membership and Administration of the Mississippi Economic Development Council, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in community and economic development.

As a Manager of Membership and Administration of the Mississippi Economic Development Council, Inc., Mr. Hinton is responsible for overseeing 600 memberships, recruiting new members, assisting in professional development for economic developers and the Chamber of Commerce members, organizing conferences, seminars and workshops, managing and updating the Web site, and representing the council on the local, state and regional levels. Prior to joining the Mississippi Economic Development Council, Inc., he worked for the Jackson Redevelopment Authority. He attributes his success to his faith in God, self-motivation, determination and to the firm foundation laid in the church.

Mr. Hinton received his Master of Science in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008 and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics - Business Administration from Tougaloo College. He is a member of the Mississippi Economic Council and the Southern Economic Development Council. He intends to pursue his Ph.D. in marketing and become a marketing director for a Fortune 500 company.
