SAN FRANCISCO, CA, January 06, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Oakland's Roberts Electric was the electrical contractor for the new Anthropologie store in Palo Alto's Stanford Shopping Center. With the addition of a wedding boutique, garden center and cafe, this is one of only seven of the new-concept stores that the company is rolling out across the US. The new department-store concept translates to a store that is smaller and more intimate than its more traditional counterparts.

Roberts Electric worked closely with Anthropologie's national general contractor, Bogart Construction, installing multiple areas of both recessed LED lighting and the fixtures that showcase three floors of retail displays. Adding another layer of complexity was the addition of a full-service farm-to-table restaurant, Terrain Cafe.

The project required complex circuiting and control systems that helped automate lighting throughout the facility. RECO Project Superintendent Marc Torney managed an aggressive schedule with a creative, team approach to successfully meet Anthropologie's needs over the course of the 4-month project.

Roberts Electric has been the electrical contractor on an increasing number of high-profile tenant improvement projects throughout the Bay Area. They have worked on a number of stores in Walnut Creek's Broadway Plaza, including Uniglo, Sephora and the new Tesla store. The company has also worked on several H&M stores, Marriott Hotels and a North Face in San Francisco.

RECO also provides a full range of residential services, and is proud of its commitment to the Oakland community. As a result of their pledge to donate $10 from every service call in 4Q:16 to the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation Board, they forwarded a check for $1300 to the organization.

Roberts Electric has been family-owned for more than 80 years. Owner Dan Pitcock is the son of the original owners and grew up in the electrical industry. Dan heads a professional team of experienced electricians that brings knowledge, commitment and skill to every project. Roberts Electrical is involved in an increasing number of high-profile tenant improvement projects throughout the Bay Area. Commercial and industrial services include lighting upgrades, phone and data communications, lighting controls installations, parking lot lighting, security lighting and OSHA Corrections. Roberts Electric also provides a full range of residential electrical services: kitchen, bath and whole house remodels, new circuits, service upgrades and live/work developments.
