Reventec's capacitive liquid level sensors are starting to be used by UAV companies because of their accuracy and reliability.

TAMPA, FL, July 28, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- UAV Propulsion Tech has signed an agreement with Reventec Ltd (Salisbury, United Kingdom) to market their capacitive liquid level sensors, rotary position sensors, magneto resistive speed sensors and temperature sensors for the US unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market. Reventec Ltd is a UK-based mechanical and electronic design consultancy, specializing in the design and development of technologically advanced products within the motorsport, defense, aerospace and industrial sectors. UAV Propulsion Tech is a US company that markets German, Canadian, UK and Swedish UAV technology into the global UAV market. These solutions include consumer off the shelf (COTs) and custom: propulsion, autopilot, servo/actuator, electric turbofans, pneumatic launchers, gyro-stabilized gimbals and rescue/recovery parachute solutions. These products are proven solutions that are flying on several high-end global UAV platforms. UAV Propulsion Tech currently represents: Goebler-Hirthmotoren GmbH & Co. KG (2-stroke aircraft/UAV engines and starter/generators), Volz Servos GmbH & Co. KG (serov/actuators), MicroPilot (autopilots), Neva Aerospace (Electric Turbofans), Eli Airborne Solutions (launchers, parachute release mechanisms), DST Control (gyro-stabilized gimbals, thermal imagers) and Skygraphics (rescue/recovery parachute systems).

Reventec was established in 2013 by Neville Meech, an experienced and internationally recognized design engineer. Having previously led the Motorsport design activities for a UK sensor company, Meech brings a vast amount of experience working with some of the most recognized race teams and sports car manufacturers in the world, predominantly within Formula 1, ELMS/IMSA, WEC and IndyCar. Reventec has a rapidly growing design team, combining a huge range of mechanical and electronic design expertise. Reventec are primarily involved in the development of products for use in harsh environments, with particular experience in the design of products for military vehicles, unmanned aircraft, race cars, industrial machines, specialist vehicles and equipment.

Neville Meech, Managing Director at Reventec said, "The advanced products we have developed and proven in the motorsports market are also starting to be used in the UAV market as systems become more advanced and require more accurate and reliable fuel level sensors and reliable engine sensors (throttle, speed, temperature). We are excited about working with UAV Propulsion Tech to expand our products into this growing market." Bob Schmidt, founder and president of UAV Propulsion Tech said, "The addition of Reventec's sensor solutions will further expand our UAV product offerings allowing us to provide solutions that will improve the performance, functionality and reliability of UAV's". Bob went on to say, "the business expansion of UAV Propulsion Tech's product offerings will allow US defense and commercial UAV developers to have one source for the most advanced propulsion, servo, autopilot, gyro-stabilized EO/IR gimbals, parachutes, electric turbofans and now advanced sensing solutions."

UAV Propulsion Tech is a privately held US company that represents several companies from Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, Estonia and Sweden that provide solutions to the global UAV market. Products include propulsion, servo, autopilot, gyro-stabilized EO/IR gimbals, pneumatic launchers, electric turbofans, fuel level sensors, engine throttle/speed/temp sensors and rescue/recovery parachutes that are being used on several high-end UAV applications.
