Datix Panel Discussion to Explore the Use of Data to Improve Patient Safety

The Datix panel discussion - What's your Datatude? Bringing the Organizational Organism into Homeostasis - will delve into strategies for improving evaluation of data to enhance patient safety program implementation.

If we are going to reduce preventable patient harm globally, then we need to harness the vast amounts of data and do a better job at identifying and eliminating root causes of patient safety events.

CHICAGO, IL, October 12, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This year's American Society for Healthcare Risk Management 2017 Annual Conference, scheduled for September 15-18 in Seattle, will feature a panel discussion of healthcare patient safety experts who will explore how better use of data can improve patient safety in healthcare. This year's event builds off the highly successful inaugural panel discussion held at the 2016 ASHRM Annual Conference, during which a maximum-capacity audience left with real-world strategies for reducing preventable patient harm. The Datix panel discussion is rapidly becoming a must-see event at the annual ASHRM conference.

The focus of the 2017 panel discussion is on improving the evaluation of big data to uncover and implement the most-effective patient safety strategies. The goal is to create organizational memory through data capture, data review, and, eventually continuous learning.
