Nancy Noble Zorick Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Zorick has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the commercial art industry

INDIO, CA, January 26, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Nancy Noble Zorick with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Zorick celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A creative spirit whose talents have taken her to the stage and into galleries and exhibitions in several states across the United States, Ms. Zorick has enjoyed a fruitful career doing what she loves. Her father, a commercial artist who shared his instruments with his daughter and helped her fine-tune her natural abilities, influenced her decision to follow in his footsteps.

Ms. Zorick was a student at the Art Institute of Chicago and participated in workshops through The Second City during the late 1960s before studying at the American Academy of Art. She was a commercial artist for the Embosograph Display Mfg. Co. from 1964 to 1966, and held a similar role with the Stevens Biondi DiCicco firm from 1966 to 1968. In the years since, she has made her art available to the public through a number of shows, such as the Riverside County Art Exhibition in 1990, and an exhibition of the Fontana Art Association in 1988. She was an illustrator for "The Little Acorn," and for "Making Weight," a book recounting the experiences of a 65-year-old blind athlete, which was published in 2012. Most recently, she presented her work at a one-woman art show at the Coachella Valley Museum in 2008.

Ms. Zorick has acted in several plays, including "My Sweet Charlie" and "Harold," as well as the movies "Medium Cool," "Jackson County Jail," and "Outside Chance." In 1969, she appeared in a commercial for Tastee-Freez, an American chain of fast food establishments. In addition to being named to the Taft Alumni Hall of Fame, she received Best of Show in Fine Arts from the Fontana Art Association, several first place awards, and second place at the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival in 1993, 1996, 2001 and 2007.

Today, Ms. Zorick immerses herself in a number of enriching activities, such as teaching Sunday school and reading to children through the BookPALS program. She has also been president, parliamentarian and historian of Des Arts.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Nancy Noble Zorick has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
