Teaching international studies and serving as a professional adviser at DePaul University for the past 31 years, Mr. Enenbach has also taught as a professor of sociology at Waubonsee Community College. In his field now for more than four decades, his journey has included extensive academic research in approximately 70 countries throughout the world. Incorporating his research in the classroom, Mr. Enenbach's expertise in government policy and his classes combine theory with his practical career experience in policymaking and implementation in various fields such as health care, social services, economics, political science and intergovernmental relations.

Prior to teaching at DePaul University, Mr. Enenbach was a professor at St. Augustine's College in Chicago and was graduate professor at Governors State University in Park Forest South, IL. He also worked in the field for more than 30 years as a consultant, professional trainer and public speaker for multiple major government and private organizations, associations and conferences. Most notably, he was the vice president and chief operating officer for the largest community action agency in the U.S. and served as the president and CEO of the CEDA Neighborhood Development Corporation.

Earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science with honors at Loyola University in 1971, Mr. Enenbach returned to work on a master's degree, during which time he had become very involved in the civil rights movement. A basketball player, he desired to attend Loyola since they had the first integrated basketball team during the early 1960s and had started five African American players at one time. A progressive and liberal person, Mr. Enenbach also became very involved in social issues, having traveled while in school to more than 25 communist and foreign countries and learning firsthand about cultures and histories. In 1973, he had completed a Master of Arts in urban studies because it incorporated sociology, political science and economics.

Mr. Enenbach was a longstanding member of the National Community Action Partnership and the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies. Locally, he has been involved as the president of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, was on the advisory board for the Salvation Army in Chicago and was president of the Lincoln Park Interagency Council in Chicago, among other roles. Furthermore, he was a planning committee member of a metropolitan wide effort to develop and implement human services summits and budgetary solutions in conjunction with the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, the Chicago Community Trust, the Illinois Facilities Fund and other private companies and organizations. Mr. Enenbach continues to host a lot of public speaking events for organizations such as National Head Start, the National Entrepreneur Training and for national state and county official conferences. He also continues to conduct urban research, write and travel. Married to Kai Lindquist Bergin, Mr. Enenbach is the father of three children and has been highlighted in approximately 55 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Politics and Who's Who in the World.
