Millwee, CPP, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than 45 years of experience, Mr. Millwee has held the positions of president and chief executive officer for SecurTest, Inc., since 1978. During this time, he has served as president and chief executive officer for iReview Now, LLC, and Innovative Risk Technologies, as well as chief security officer for Captain D's LLC. Prior to these appointments, he excelled as the chief homicide detective for the Unsolved Murder Unit at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office from 1974 to 1978. Mr. Millwee began his career as the supervisor of the Confidential Informant Unit for the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1971 to 1973.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Millwee pursued an education at Hillsborough Community College, earning an Associate of Arts in police science and administration in 1974. He followed this accomplishment with a Bachelor of Arts in criminology at the University of South Florida in 1978. Mr. Millwee concluded his education with graduate coursework in biblical studies at Dallas Theological Seminary from 2000 to 2002.

A leading expert in the field, Mr. Millwee has earned several licenses and certifications. He is licensed as a GC-911 private investigator and he holds a license for an A-1222 private investigative agency in the state of Florida. Since 1995, he has been certified in security management as a protection professional by ASIS International. Furthermore, Mr. Millwee was certified by the Commission on Criminal Justice Standards and Training in 1979.

Mr. Millwee has found much success with his written works as well. Serving on the editorial advisory board of directors for Loss Prevention Magazine from 2001 to 2003, he has contributed articles to such journals as Security Magazine, the Journal for Healthcare Protection Management, and multiple proceedings for ASIS International. He also authored "The Threat from Within: Workplace Violence" in 1995, "Forensic Hypnosis Training Manual" in 1981, and, most recently, "The SecurTest System." A speaker at many conferences and seminars within his field, Mr. Millwee is a prolific screenwriter, having penned the motion picture scripts "Nobody to Somebody," "Addictive Betrayal" and "The Blackjack Killer."

In addition to his efforts in the field, Mr. Millwee has contributed to numerous endeavors in his community. He has been a reliable consultant for truTV and Court TV, as well as the advisor and commentator for "American Lawmen" on the American Hero Channel in 2016. He has served as an instructor in security management for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since 2003, an adjunct instructor for St. Petersburg College from 1979 to 1986, and as an adjunct instructor for the Florida Institute for Law Enforcement from 1979 to 1986. Mr. Millwee has been vice president of the board for his Homeowners Association, and is a member of the emergency response and safety team for the Destiny Worship Center.

Previously, Mr. Millwee was involved on the founding board of directors for the Joint Council on Information Age Crime from 2001 to 2003, the Association to Advance Ethical Hypnosis from 1975 to 1985 and from 2007 to 2011, and the Society for Forensic Hypnosis from 1978 to 1985. A lifetime member of ASIS International since 2006, Mr. Millwee has contributed to this organization as a member since 1979, as well as president in 2002, chairman of the board of directors in 2003, on the council of past presidents in 2004, and as chair of the ethics council in 2005.

In addition to his primary trade, Mr. Millwee remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He has maintained membership with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, the National Association of Professional Background Screeners and the American Polygraph Association.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Millwee has accrued multiple accolades and honors throughout his career. His work with SecurTest, Inc., has helped the company receive honors as the Number One Background Screening Company by several different entities, including U.S. Business News. He was honored as Police Officer of the Year in the 1970s. Mr. Millwee has also been inducted in the Wall of Fame of the University of South Florida, and was recognized as a Distinguished Worldwide Humanitarian in 2018.

Attributing his success to his empathetic approach to interrogation, Mr. Millwee was inspired to enter his industry by his father, pastors in his church during his youth, and past ASIS presidents, Raymond Humphrey and Don Walker. Within his first decade with SecurTest, Inc., he developed the first forensic hypnosis programs which help traumatized victims and witnesses to clearly remember details of crimes or suspects. He has also cemented himself as an icon in background screening by designing 330 behavioral tests based on information targeted as he witnessed a growth in workplace violence and homicide. Looking toward the future, Mr. Millwee hopes to continue his lauded efforts in security and prevention while expanding his business and substantiating his legacy.
