An accomplished listee, Ms. Dike celebrates many years of experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. With nearly 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Dike retired in 1994, having been with Schenectady County Community College as an associate professor since 1980 and chair of Developmental Studies since 1982. Prior to obtaining these roles, she was the associate director and dean of the modern dance department of the Chautauqua Institute for Dance in 1978, and instructor of modern dance and choreography with Union College, a choreographer with the Capital Area Artist Opera Company, and a choreographer with Dance Alliance.

From 1969 to 1975, Ms. Dike worked with the Capital Area modern Dance Council as artistic director, program coordinator, choreography, and producer, and she was with the Chautauqua institute Dance Department as an adjudicator, teacher, choreographer and associate director from 1960 to 1968, and again from 1976 to 1982. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dike was a teacher, choreographer, and associate director with the Erie Civic Ballet Company from 1958 to 1968, also serving as a performer with the Jean Erdman Company.

Ms. Dike began her career as a student at the University of Texas, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in physical education in 1952. She later returned to her studies at the State University of New York, earning a Master of Science in 1977. She is certified as a special education teacher in the state of New York, and in elementary and secondary education in the state of Texas.

In addition to her work in the field, Ms. Dike has been active with a number of organizations in her community. She served as director of health education for the Jersey City, NJ, YWCA, and she was board chair and Head Start for the Covenant Preschool in Erie, PA. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her contributions, including having been awarded for teaching one of her dances at a Washington, DC, symposium. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Entertainment. In her free time, Ms. Dike enjoys playing bridge.
