Free Webinar to Help Manage Multi-Generational Workforce

Staff Development Expert Alissa Carpenter to Lead Workshop

"For the first time in history, there are five generations in the workforce," Alissa Carpenter said in announcing her webinar.

PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 12, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Millennial workforce expert Alissa Carpenter will host a free groundbreaking webinar this month to help employers and supervisors learn to navigate the demands of working with a multi-generational staff.

During the free webinar, which will run from 1 to 2 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Sept. 26, Carpenter will share her expertise on a range of issues, including drivers within each of the generations in the workforce and how to move differences into opportunities. She also will discuss communication strategies to reach all generations, what employees across generations look for in a work environment and supervisor and practices to implement immediately within an organization.

"For the first time in history, there are five generations in the workforce," Carpenter said in announcing her webinar.  These are "generations made up of people with different values, experiences and communication styles."

"This webinar will give you clear strategies to competently communicate in a multi-generational workforce with less stress and more confidence," said Carpenter, owner of Everything's Not OK and That's OK Coaching.

Carpenter has more than a decade of experience working with Millennials and Gen Z populations at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and other institutions.  She is a certified professional coach and employee development facilitator who specializes in helping companies engage and retain Millennial workers.

"Millennials currently make up about 38 percent of the workforce, and this number will continue to grow," Carpenter said late last year in announcing the creation of the Millennial Playbook Podcast with career coach and author Kate Athmer.

"For organizations to recruit, retain and engage their Millennial employees, it's vital for them to understand their mindset and what they value in the workplace," added Carpenter, whose webinar will focus on all the generations currently in the workforce.

Carpenter also holds a M. Ed in social comparative analysis in education, is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and is certified in the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers Briggs Type Indicator.

As an expert in professional development work and career exploration with companies, alumni groups and individuals across the country, she has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR and FOX television outlets and has been quoted on CNN Money, Forbes, Monster and others.
