Carolyn M. Bolander is a compassionate and dedicated retired registered nurse who most recently served as an associate with the Collegiate Public and Research Network in Indianapolis, IN.

Amassing nearly four decades of professional excellence, Ms. Bolander is a compassionate and dedicated retired registered nurse who most recently served as an associate with the Collegiate Public and Research Network in Indianapolis, IN, from 1994 until her retirement in 2001. Prior to this position, she was a consultant at the Ohio Board of Nursing in Columbus, OH, from 1990 to 1993, a program coordinator and instructor at Kenwood Terrace Nursing Center in Cincinnati, OH, from 1989 to 1990, and an associate professor of the x-ray technician program at Xavier University from 1986 to 1989. Likewise, she was a nursing instructor at the Jewish Hospital of Nursing in Cincinnati from 1975 to 1988 and served the Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in multiple capacities, including as an associate professor of psychiatry and nursing instructor. In 1970, she was a nursing education consultant to the United States Air Force in San Antonio, TX. She commenced her career as an instructor to education coordinator at Lake View Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Danville, IL, from 1967 to 1972 and an assistant instructor at the Maumee Valley Hospital School of Nursing from 1964 to 1967.

Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. Bolander was formerly an instructor and counselor at the Great Oaks School of Practical Nursing from 1990 to 1995, a consultant and psychiatric nursing practitioner at the Jewish Hospital from 1986 to 1988, and an individual counselor from 1975 to 1988. Additionally, she was an instructor of educational resources in Shawnee Mission, Kansas from 1986 to 2001. Civically, she was previously a Christian action committee member of the Southwest Ohio Church of the Nazarene and chairman of the Fairfield committee.

To prepare for her illustrious career, Ms. Bolander pursued formal education at the Maumee Valley Hospital School of Nursing, where she received a diploma in 1964. Soon thereafter, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mary Manse College in 1972, a Master of Education from Xavier University in 1977, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She is a registered nurse in the state of Ohio, and her specialties include psychiatry and mental health.

A member of the National League of Nursing, Ms. Bolander enjoys going to church, playing sports, and participating in community choirs in her spare time. She believes that God led her in the direction she traveled in life, and through the Nurse's Christian Fellowship Organization, she was able to implement her studies and wisdom with students. Married to Joe David Bolander since 1962, she is the proud mother of four children, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
