ATLANTA, GA, October 06, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Cool Shied MagSeal solution has proven to be a very popular option for Data Center Managers to seal gaps in their contained aisles. MagSeal are thin, high-performance rolls of magnetic material which are scored horizontally or vertically to allow for covering gaps in and around server cabinets. This versatility allows MagSeal to help fully seal your contained aisles to minimize air mixing between aisles, while also saving your company on energy costs.
"Our design is based on feedback we have received from customers who manage some of the largest data centers in the country. Key features such as the slim depth, size configurability and mounting versatility were a direct result of their input," says Rick Berendes who is the Cool Shield Product Manager.
Here are few ways our customers have used MagSeal:
• Fill gaps between cabinets
• Floor skirt to fill gap under cabinets
• Fill the opening between rack rail and side of cabinet
• Cover uncovered cable openings on top of cabinets
Two new MagSeal products have now been released:
A 50-foot long magnetic strip roll that is 3" wide which is scored horizontally in 3" long strips. The width of the strips is ideal for sealing below server cabinets and gaps next to rack mount rails in 24" wide cabinets. The 3" scoring allows for tool-less sizing to the exact length needed.
A 25-foot long magnetic strip roll that is 6" wide which is scored horizontally in 3" long strips. The width of the strips is ideal for sealing wider gaps and the large space next to rack mount rails in 30 to 32" wide cabinets. The 3" scoring allows for easily adjusting length to the ideal side needed.
