Clarence Sheward Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    FRANKFURT, OH, October 16, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Clarence Sheward with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee Mr. Sheward celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Sheward began his career as a commissioned 2nd lieutenant in the United States Air Force in 1964. He had advanced through the grades to captain by the time he resigned from the United States Air Force in 1972 at which time he was a certified senior pilot. From 1972 to 1976, he worked as a plant engineer in Jackson Plastics Corp. in Ohio. After this opportunity, he contributed to Goodyear Atomic Corp., a subsidiary of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, in Piketon, Ohio as a division safety coordinator from 1976 to 1978. He continued his career with Goodyear Atomic Corp. from 1979 to 1983 as a maintenance services supervisor. From 1983 to 1985, he was further associated with Goodyear Atomic Corp. as the superintendent of uranium operations. Mr. Sheward ended his career as President of Theta Pro2Serve Management performing the infrastructure systems management function at the Piketon, Ohio plant.

Prior to embarking on his career, Mr. Sheward received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy in 1964. Following this accomplishment, he earned his Master of Business Administration from Capital University in 1980. Mr. Sheward is a certified project manager.

In addition to his career, Mr. Sheward served as an Air Force Academy cadet and is a graduate of Air Force pilot training. He has accrued 3,500 hours of Air Force flying time including over 900 hours of combat flying time. He was a member of the advisory board for the Buckeye Hills Career Center from 1976 to 1978. He has also been active as a teacher at the University of Rio Grande & Rio Grande Community College in Rio Grande, Ohio since 1980. Mr. Sheward crafted the proposal that won the United States Department of Energy contract for infrastructure services at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio, a $105 Million contract.

Mr. Sheward is a member of the Association of Graduates of the Air Force Academy, the American Association of MBAs, the Process Improvement Institute and the Lions Club International. He is a former member of the Ohio Rotary and is an elder at the Frankfort, Ohio Presbyterian Church. He is currently deacon and elder at his local Presbyterian Church. From 1964 to 1972, he achieved over 200 combat missions in Vietnam as a Forward Air Controller and was inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame in 2010. He has been decorated with an Air Medal with nine oak leaf clusters and three Distinguished Flying Crosses for bravery. Mr. Sheward has previously been selected for inclusion in the 20th edition of Who's Who in the Midwest.
