MARIETTA, GA, February 28, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan Norris has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Norris is the founder of Rescuing Hope, a role she has held since 2015. In her eight years at the helm, she has dedicated herself to training first responders and collaborating with ally support advocates to assist survivors of sex trafficking. Her work involves strategizing with program developers to focus efforts effectively and providing essential training to address potential issues. Ms. Norris leads staff meetings and disseminates best practices nationwide. She also engages with various organizations throughout the state to garner support for her cause. Prior to founding Rescuing Hope, Ms. Norris worked with student ministry at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where she began her journey into advocacy and empowerment.

Ms. Norris is recognized as an expert in enlightenment, education, and empowerment, praised for achieving a high level of expertise in these areas. Her career is marked by a commitment to these principles and a dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by sex trafficking.

The educational background of Ms. Norris includes a Master of Education in early childhood education and a Bachelor of Science in child development and family relations, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she completed her studies in 1989 and 1988, respectively. Ms. Norris attributes her success to her ability to recognize and utilize the expertise of those she serves while maintaining a posture of student and learner throughout her career. Her faith has been a cornerstone of her resilience and determination.

Ms. Norris was compelled to enter her profession after discovering alarming statistics about the commercial sex trade during her time with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This revelation led her to write "Rescuing Hope," a novel aimed at raising awareness among teenagers about sex trafficking through compelling fiction based on real-life accounts.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Norris was appointed to the GRACE Commission by Georgia's First Lady, Marty Kemp. She is also a mother of two children who finds joy in reading, painting, cooking, music, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. Looking ahead, Ms. Norris aspires to create sustainable employment opportunities for those in need and implement educational curriculums that tackle the core issues surrounding sex trafficking without fear or hesitation. Her ultimate aim is to ensure that ideas flourish without being hindered by financial constraints.
