Mr. Stitt is a private practice attorney who has been practicing law for over 50 years. Since 2002, he has maintained his firm in Easton, Pennsylvania, counseling clients on various civil matters, including wills, trusts, and estate cases.

Leveraging his former experiences, Mr. Stitt spent over 15 years with Coffin and DeRaymond in Easton, Pennsylvania, which subsequently became Coffin, DeRaymond, Shipman and Stitt, then Coffin, DeRaymond, Shipman, Stitt, Lewis and Walters. Hired in 1971 as an associate, he became a junior and senior partner. Mr. Stitt also garnered success as a senior partner at Stitt and Cordts in Easton from 1987 to 1994, as a private practice attorney for the first time between 1994 and 2000, and as a partner at Stitt and Narlesky from 2001 to 2002.

During his tenure in law, Mr. Stitt was most grateful for the guidance and support of Mr. George Coffin Jr., who helped him become established in the corporate and estate law sectors. Mr. Stitt also served as a solicitor for the Easton Suburban Water Authority from 1987 to 2006, senior partner at Star Enterprises Partnerships in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, between 1986 and 2000, and as a solicitor for the Borough of Stockertown, Pennsylvania, between 1974 and 1984.

Apart from his work-related endeavors, Mr. Stitt has been active civically. Affiliated with AAA Northampton County, he began as a vice president for the organization in 1973 and was the chairperson from 2004 to 2023. As a dedicated community advocate, he has also been affiliated with Rotary International, The Freemasons, and Shriners International. Mr. Stitt previously served on the board of directors for the Northampton Country Club, on the board and as the president of the Easton Public Library, as the president of State Theater Inc., as a solicitor, director and chairman for the Lehigh Valley chapter of the American Red Cross, as the vice president of the Jewett Family of America, and as a trustee, elder and Clerk of Session of the First Presbyterian Church in Easton.

Mr. Stitt graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University in 1965 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University in 1968. He was admitted to practice by the Texas and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

After completing his law degree, Mr. Stitt served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. While serving his country in the military, he received a direct commission as an intelligence officer. He was assigned to a 1,200 personnel intelligence center in North Carolina, which provided a quarter of the army's intelligence worldwide. He was also assigned to the Judge Advocate General's Corps and became known for thoroughly preparing his cases and successfully defending 25 out of 26 cases during that time.

To remain active in his professional community, Mr. Stitt is a member of the American Bar Association. In light of his success, he was featured in Sports Illustrated, was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Golf Hall of Fame, and received a Silver Key Award from the American Bar Association.
