Subsequently, Dr. Bean received a PhD in organizational leadership from Capella University and became a public notary in Texas.

In conjunction with her work, she contributes to her community through the Heart of Experian, a social services organization, TangoTab, which connects restaurants with people in need, Minnie's Food Pantry, The Gabbi Foundation, Special Abilities of North Texas, and the local Mental Health Veterans Advocacy Council.
