He was also elected to serve on the Tennessee Veterans Home board of directors by Governor Bill Lee in 2023, serves on the board of directors for the United Way, and multiple advisory boards related to education. Moreover, Mr. Rawls is recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian. Most honorably, he served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years, where he trained as an X-ray technician.
Mr. Rawls holds a bachelor's degree with a concentration in banking and finance from Morehouse College and a master's degree from Lipscomb University.
