Alice E. Overly Honored for Accomplishments in Business Operations Management

    PERU, IN, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alice E. Overly, President of David Overly Plumbing & Heating, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of business operations management.

Possessing more than four decades of professional expertise, Alice E. Overly has been named Cambridge Publishing's "Professional of the Year in Business Operations Management" for 2009. Recognized for her proficiency in account management, Ms. Overly now thrives in her fourth year as President of David Overly Plumbing & Heating, where she is responsible for a myriad of tasks. Not only does she handle administrative, secretarial and financial duties, but she oversees the business, bills clients, files records, manages client relations, handles sales activity, traffics advertisements and performs accounting.

Ms. Overly initially became involved in the plumbing and HVAC industry through her husband's encouragement. He established the company and offered her the opportunity to utilize her business and secretarial savvy. Under her leadership, David Overly Plumbing & Heating, Inc has received the Reader's Choice Award for being the best plumbing services provider in Peru County. She looks forward to continuing with the company, playing an integral role in its growth and expansion.

Ms. Overly is Native American with heritage stemming from the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. She served on the tribal council as a member at large for three years and representative on the Indiana Native American Council for four years. She ran for member at large for the 2009 to 2010 term and won a three year term. Additionally, she is extremely active with the American Heart Association and regularly contributes to the American Cancer Society. She holds a certification in secretarial studies and underwriting.
