With 35 years of experience in education, Ms. Mason has held her position as a fifth-grade teacher for the Chambersburg Area School District for the last 16 years. She excels in elementary education and relating to students on a personal level, and is responsible for teaching all fifth grade subjects (excluding science) and piloting a mathematics program with the state.

Ms. Mason received her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University in 1974 and is affiliated with the Keystone Reading Association. She attributes her success to working hard, being dedicated and always putting her students' welfare first.
