WILLIAMSPORT, PA, June 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith W. DeGregorio, Part-Time Mathematics Instructor for the Pennsylvania College of Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

Since 1968, Ms. DeGregorio has been in education and is currently responsible for teaching developmental algebra. She is also a crafter for Judy's Strawberry Cupboard and specializes in making custom lampshades and one of a kind 'rag jackets.' She became involved in the education industry because she was inspired by her father and started her business after she became a stay-at-home mother. Ms. DeGregorio attributes her success to the influence of former instructors and the support of her family.

Ms. DeGregorio received her Bachelor of Science in Education, with a concentration in Mathematics, from Lock Haven State Teacher's College (now Lock Haven University). She is a member of the Montoursville Garden Club, a juried member of The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, a juried member of the local Williamsport/Lewisburg Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and a member of the Bald Eagle Art League. She volunteers at the Community Arts Center.
