Motivated by a desire to create and express herself through art, Ms. Nicholas established Fawn's Ceramics & Jewelry, a retail company specializing in handcrafted accessories and pottery. She serves as the company's sole proprietor, and is in charge of handling finances and taxes, checking inventory, and ensuring the prompt delivery of orders. In addition, Ms. Nicholas is a teacher, and conducts classes in wood burning and jewelry making and organizes shows for her students to be able to display their work. Disabled and confined to a wheelchair, she relishes the opportunity to inspire others to pursue their dreams. She attributes her success to her persistence and refusal to give up on life.

Ms. Nicholas is an active supporter of St. Labre Indian School. In five years, she looks forward to launching her own website and teaching classes online.
