Patricia Morrison Receives Professional Networking Community's Highest Honor

    TEMPE, AZ, November 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia Morrison, Senior Database Architect for Insight, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Information Systems Architecture. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.

Patricia Morrison is a respected authority on the design, development maintenance, and transformation of enterprise-level data systems. She lends her talents to Insight, an information technology solutions firm. As a senior database architect, she utilizes her expertise in SQL Server 2000 and DTS Play to design and build complex relational databases and data warehouses. She works with the technical team and end-users to understand their business requirements, identifies data solutions, plans strategies for data acquisitions and archive recovery, and supports all purchase activity reporting, audits and data movement.

Prior to joining Insight, Ms. Morrison was a senior database developer for Software Spectrum, a Level 3 Communications subsidiary, a software engineer for Filemark Corporation, and a senior information systems specialist for U.S. IM&T at Digital Equipment Co. She completed coursework in computer science at Dean College.
