/24-7PressRelease/ - Elk Grove, CA, May 9, 2008, Synthia Ann Mehas, Fifth Grade Teacher for the Elk Grove Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of elementary education.

Ms. Mehas has an impressive 20-year background as an educator. She has developed an expertise in teaching science and social studies and on a daily basis is responsible for teaching curriculum standards in social studies, supplying resources for science, representing fifth grade students for science, overseeing the steering committee and the mathematics ISL committee, and preparing science and laboratory materials.

In addition to earning her K-12 certification, Ms. Mehas received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California Davis. She attributes her success to her love for children and her ability to interact well with her students.
