Marissa W. du Bois Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Software Engineering

Marissa du Bois channels years of expertise to her work with Intel Corporation



While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. du Bois takes the most pride in her software engineering work on such game titles as Diablo IV and the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

    PORTLAND, OR, May 14, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marissa du Bois has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on years of professional experience in software engineering, game enabling, and optimization, Ms. du Bois excels as a staff graphics software engineer for Intel. In this capacity, she optimizes video games for Intel hardware to enhance their performance on GPUs and CPUs. Additionally, she helps game companies improve their software's compatibility and efficiency with Intel's technology, liaises between Intel and game developers, and advances the company's GPUs and CPUs for upcoming product lines. Before obtaining her current role, Ms. du Bois was a senior graphics and multicore engineer and software developer consultant.

During the early stages of her career, Ms. du Bois gained valuable expertise in software analysis and development, operations analysis, sales, and more through various roles with Gray Cat Films, AudaExplore, Software Planning LLC, Walla Walla Foundries, and San Mar Corporation. An expert in her field, she completed continuing education units in software development at Bellevue College. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Du Bois aligned herself with the Association for Computing Machinery.

In conjunction with her work, Ms. du Bois at Intel previously led the LGBTQ Employee Resource Group. Throughout her career, she has achieved much. In addition to filing an amicus brief through Intel Corporation for Bostock v. Clayton County, a landmark United States Supreme Court civil rights decision, she invented multiple state-of-the-art Lego electronic devices, including the Lego Telescope.

Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her drive to assist others and create and enhance technology that brings joy to others' lives.
