Yasmine Janjua, MAC, Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Life Coaching

Yasmine Janjua has found her calling in social services

WILLOW BEACH, ON, CANADA, March 13, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yasmine Janjua, MAC, Founder and Life Coach for Guiding Life, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Janjua is the founder of Guiding Life and a professional life coach, with extensive expertise in coaching youths and families. She has worked in the field of social services for 12 years, providing support to children, teens, parents and families. She created Guiding Life five years ago and in addition to her life coaching and consulting responsibilities, oversees the organization's operations and marketing, and does consultancy work for a Toronto-based family lawyer. She is proud to have been able to carve out a successful career in Canada after relocating from England. At first, the prospect of starting out in a new country was intimidating, but she also came to realize that she possessed many skills and experiences that would hold more importance then foreign policies. She is also gratified with the programs and initiatives she has helped to develop and operate while working with the UK local government, and of the principles that govern her practice today - that each family and family member is individual and requires individual support.

In an interview with Worldwide Who's Who, she explained what led her to choose her present career. "I struggled for many years with ADHD as well as the many issues that came with my multicultural family dynamics. As I moved through adolescence, I made several life altering mistakes that I came to learn were actually the foundation of my success. I eventually built a personal professional resource guide on how to manage and deal with many issues - and it is this internal resource guide that I carry with me to every new client I meet."

Attributing her success to her hard work, Ms. Janjua has found her calling in social services. She has worked in several disciplines within the field, including residential treatment and child and family therapy, and has done a wide range of youth work in Canada, England and Ireland.

In 2004, Ms. Janjua received a Diploma in Social Services from Brunell University. In 2005, she earned Certification in Life Coaching. She is also a member of the Association for Coaching. Looking forward, Ms. Janjua hopes to help more people.
