Ms. Simpson currently works with U.S. veterans to assist them in having the best quality of life possible. She served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1993, during which time she held the positions of instructor/trainer, assistant logistics officer, and property accounting officer. In 1994, Ms. Simpson worked as a maintenance management coordinator for five years before being named deputy director of internal logistics. In 2002, she attained the position of theater level logistics manager. In 2003, Ms. Simpson began working for the Defense Logistics Agency, where she remained until she retired in 2015.
Ms. Simpson received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in 1971, and a Master of Public Administration, as well as a Master of Science in international relations from Troy State University in 1988 and 1991, respectively. Her professional affiliations include alignment with the Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, the Oxford Club, and the Wiesbaden/Mainz Retiree Council, for which she has served as secretary since 1994.
In recognition of her commitment to serving her country, Ms. Simpson has been featured in Who's Who in America since 2000. She has also been featured in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
