She is active with professional and engineering education organizations, including the Pennsylvania State University College of Engineering, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, the American Society for Quality, and the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, though which she is recognized as Fellow. By way of these affiliations, Dr. Schall has been able to make a true impact on her profession.
In building her expertise, Dr. Schall achieved a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia, a second Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Science in industrial engineering and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering. She is an American Society for Quality-certified quality engineer, and a Six Sigma master black belt.
