Paul Sengpiehl Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Public Service

Mr. Sengpiehl has met with success in the public sector as an expert legal counsel and state official

    OAK PARK, IL, August 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Sengpiehl has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Considered an expert legal counsel in the Chicagoland region, Mr. Sengpiehl has worked in the public sector since 1970. Following his achievement of a JD from the Kent College of Law at Illinois the Institute of Technology, he established his career as a government official while working for the Chicago Department of Urban Renewal. In developing a reputation of excellence, he took on roles as supervisor of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, management officer for the Illinois Department of Local Government Affairs and special assistant attorney general for the Illinois Department of Labor. Mr. Sengpiehl has held additional noteworthy positions as an assistant attorney general to the court of claims division for the attorney general of Illinois and a hearing referee for the review board of the Illinois Department of Labor. Successful due to his passion for his work as a public service professional, he was honored for inclusion in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in American Politics, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.

Mr. Sengpiehl's civic work is a testament to his commitment to community. Aside from his professional duties, he has served as the elected committeeman for the Oak Park Township Republican Party. He also served as a member of the small business council for the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce which worked with the Oak Park Village. He was previously the local government law columnist for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. A licensed and ordained minister, Mr. Sengpiehl is involved with initiatives and programs for the American Baptist Cook County Jail Ministry as its Chairman of the Board and also ministers in the Jail. Mr. Sengpiehl maintained affiliation with the Chicago Bar Association, and while he was a member, he was Chairman of the local government committee and of the legislation subcommittee. He was also involved with the Illinois Bar Association, where he also served as Chairman of the local government committee.

Although retired from public service, Mr. Sengpiehl intends to continue his reduced private law practice and his ministry at Cook County Jail.
