Over the course of her career, Mrs. Frederickson found success in the roles of court reporter, researcher, educator, editor and writer. She began on her path of achievement after graduating cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1968. Not long after, she accepted a position as a staff writer for Computerworld Newsweekly in Newton, Mass. In 1974, she graduated from Boston College with a Master of Education.
Mrs. Frederickson shifted gears in the mid-1980s to become Radio Events Editor for Antique Radio Classified in Carlisle, Mass. After 11 years in this position, she worked as a court reporter in Los Angeles, Calif. She was also a new script reader for the Fountain Theatre for 15 years. Her professional affiliations include the Eugene O'Neill Society, the Dramatists Guild, the International Bonhoeffer Society and the California Mission Studies Association.
Mrs. Frederickson has become involved with a number of civic groups as well. She was a docent for the San Gabriel Mission in California from 1997 to 2006, and again from 2009 to the present. In 1998, she authored the drama "Dona Victoria-First Lady of San Gabriel," which was produced twice at the Southwest Museum, Mt. Washington in Los Angeles. Mrs. Frederickson received the San Gabriel Mission History Award in 2009. She volunteered at the Homestead Museum from 1998 to 2004, and with Las Angelitas del Pueblo from 2011 to 2013. She was also a College Board Member of Mademoiselle from 1965 to 1966, while at the University of New Hampshire.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Mrs. Frederickson was chosen to be featured in the 61st to 70th editions of Who's Who in America, the 25th through 28th editions of Who's Who of American Women, and several editions of Who's Who in the World. She continues to pursue her passions for reading, writing, history, theater, travel and theology through various endeavors.
