Widely renowned for her writing ability and bibliographical expertise, Ms. Manville prepared for her professional excursions by earning a Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University in 1975, followed by a Master of Arts from the same institution in 1978. Through her work for the fellowship, she concluded and contributed to an annotated bibliography on John Steinbeck, which is currently available online and utilized by students and scholars alike.
Actively involved with the Arizona Authors Association, Ms. Manville served on its board of directors as the literature contest coordinator from 2006 to 2008, and more recently as treasurer from 2008 to 2010. She also has experience as an editor, having worked on a collection of writing for a local branch of the American Association of University Women.
Due to her substantial career prowess, Ms. Manville has been featured in nine editions of Who's Who in America, eight editions of Who's Who in the World and four editions of Who's Who of American Women.
