Deeply dedicated to his community, Mr. Fontana has held positions in various civic organizations. He was previously involved with the Monroe Democratic Committee as a member of the board of directors from 1985 to 1987, and used his position on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Benefits Committee to work with members of Congress on the issue of social security finance. In addition, he was a captain of United Way in New York City between 1992 and 1999, as well as a team manager of M-W Little League for three years. His current affiliations include the New York City Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Orange County Partnership, as well as the Mid-Hudson Valley Society of Human Resources Management, where he is the president-elect and contact advocate. A talented musician, Mr. Fontana has been a member of numerous Christian rock bands including Voice of Praise and Sunrise, since 2000. He has performed at the Church of the Sacred Heart for nearly three decades. Mr. Fontana is also a member of the Westchester Fencers Club.
In recognition of his academic prowess and business acumen, Mr. Fontana has been featured in a wide variety of honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World. Furthermore, he has been included in the 28th through 37th editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, which were published between 1993 and 2009.
