Recognized for more than four and a half decades of professional excellence, Dr. Pappas brings her vast knowledge in education and non-profit to her roles as the president and CEO of Pappas Consultant Group, Inc., which she has led since 1992. She prepared for her endeavors by earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. She subsequently took on the role of director of student and young alumni affairs for the California Alumni Association, where she stayed for two years. For the following two years, Dr. Pappas worked as UC Berkeley's director of residential programs, after which she served a six-year stint as the university's director of housing and childcare. During that time, she also earned a Ph.D. from the university, which propelled her to her next role as a senior consultant and manager at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in their Education and Other Institutions Practice. In 1982, she was promoted to senior manager and was named a partner in 1984. She was subsequently named partner in charge of the national Education and Other Institutions practice for KPMG Peat Marwick.
Dr. Pappas has served on multiple education and non-profit boards and is currently active with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Conservatory.
