The weekend retreat will provide tools and guidance based on science and spirituality to help women unlock their unique destiny and walk their authentic life path.
For more than twenty-five years Michele was a special educator working with youngsters challenged by physical, learning, neurological, and behavioral disorders. In addition to a Master's Degree in Special Education, Michele holds certificates in Positive Psychology, Spiritual Direction and Life Coaching. She lectures widely on Positive Psychology, Spirituality, Healing, Happiness, Compassionate Care and Spiritual Growth lifelong. Michele engages audiences of chaplains, clergy, spiritual directors, social workers, psychologists, medical personnel, professional and family caregivers, and women's groups. She presents at major retreat centers and international conferences. Michele is a member of The International Positive Psychology Association and The National Education Association.
Michele's first book, "I Make a Difference: Building Self-Esteem and Sensitivity in the Inclusive Classroom," garnered Michele invitations to present self-esteem and anti-bullying workshops throughout the United States and Canada. Her most recent book, a spiritual memoir, "ExtraOrdinary: An End of Life Story Without End," was published by Pearlsong Press, Nashville, TN in 2012. ExtraOrdinary received outstanding reviews from Publishers Weekly and multiple other sources.
Michele is the Co-Founder of the Multi-faith Council for Spiritual Connection that brings together people of all traditions to celebrate our shared humanity. In 2010 she was a recipient of the Anti-Defamation League's Leonard P. Zakim Humanitarian Award for fostering interfaith harmony. Since 1997, through the present, Michele has been a biographee in the Marquis Who's Who series including Who's Who in America, Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in American Education.
