In a career spanning over four decades, Arline Reimann has pursued many creative printmaking techniques. After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, she received a Master of Arts from Montclair State University. Her recent solo exhibitions include the Walnut Creek, CA, City Hall in 2015 and the Heather Farms Community Center in Walnut Creek, CA, in 2014. Ms. Reimann has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions across the Continental United States as well as the Galleria San Jeronimo, San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1987 and the Art Center, Municipality of Athens, Greece in 1996. Recent selected group exhibitions include The Old Print Shop, New York, in 2012 and 2014, The Delind Gallery of the Arts, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2013, The Art Students League, New York, in 2015, The Salmagundi Club, New York in 2010-2016, The Armory Art Center, West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2015, 2016, The Bedford Gallery, Lesher Center for the Arts, Walnut Creek, CA, in 2014, The Prince Street Gallery, New York in 2017, The Lindsay Museum, Walnut Creek, CA, in 2017. A juried member of the Society of American Graphic Artists, The California Society of Printmakers, The National Association of Women Artists and Audubon Artists, Ms. Reimann served on the Boards of The National Association of Women Artists and Audubon Artists. She also served on printmaking juries and chaired coast to coast traveling print exhibitions for The National Association of Women Artists. Ms. Reimann is represented in permanent collections in the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, New Jersey, The Newark Public Library Fine Print Collection, New Jersey, The Black Hills Institute, South Dakota, The Bailey Matthews Museum, Florida and Montclair State University, New Jersey.
Awards for Ms. Reimann's fine prints include Best in Show, Salute to Women in the Arts, Lincoln Center, New York 1981. She received The Aida Whedon Memorial Award 1966, The Miriam Russo Enders Award 2011, The Cornelia Baker Presidential Memorial Award 2014 from The National Association of Women Artists exhibitions. She was awarded the Jack Richeson & Co. Gold Brush Award 2014 and the Gamblin Artist's Colors Printmaking Award 2016 through Audubon Artists exhibitions.
