SIERRA VISTA, AZ, February 28, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicky L. Sizemore has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After nearly five decades of experience, Mr.Sizemore retired from his role as a computer scientist in 2012. He started his professional journey with the U.S. Army, where he served from 1964 to 1968. Mr. Sizemore proceeded to spend the next two years with UNIVAC as a computer operator and programmer, but reenlisted in the Army in 1970, retiring as a Sergeant First Class in 1986. After military service, he jumped back into the world of computers with roles at Ultra Systems, Inc., and, sequentially, Comarco, Inc. During that time, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the State University of New York. In 1992 he started as a computer scientist with ARC, and joined Computer Sciences Corp. a year later. Before retiring, he held the roles of senior information system engineer for Harris Corp from 1996 until 1991, systems analyst for EWA Services, Inc. from 2002 until 2008, and senior operations research analyst for Mantech, Inc. from 2009 until 2012.
A shining example of skill in his field, Mr. Sizemore continues to affiliate himself with the Association for Computing Machinery and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence in order to keep abreast of changes in the field. Throughout his career, he has had the honor of being named to publications such as Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in the Media and Communication. In retirement, Mr. Sizemore intends to engage in personal programming projects in various fields.
