In order to keep abreast of changes in his field, Dr. Eisen affiliates himself with the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Transplantation, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and the American Federation of Clinical Research. He is also a diplomate through the American Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Eisen is Boarded by the ABIM in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology. Notably, he has been named a top doctor in Philadelphia Magazine and Castle & Connolly's Top Doctors in America every year since 1996, and in 2006, he was awarded the Alumni Service Award through the American Federation of Clinical Research.
