TOPEKA, KS, March 08, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Harry Reeder has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After accruing more than 35 years of practiced industry experience, Mr. Reeder has since retired from the field of law. He started his journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts from Washburn University, and three years later, he became a research assistant with the Kansas Legislative Council Research Department until 1960. That year, he furthered his knowledge by earning a JD from his alma mater. The degree propelled him to the role of assistant counsel for the Traffic Institute at Northwestern University, where he eventually took on the position of general counsel. One of his last jobs before retirement was that of executive director for the National Committee of Uniform Traffic Laws and Ordinances.
Certified to practice law through the Kansas Bar Association and the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. Reeder has served as a member of the Committee on Alcohol & Other Drugs in the past. Throughout his career, he has contributed his knowledge to such works as "Vehicle Traffic Law," which he co-authored in 1974 and "Interpretation of Implied Consent by the Courts," which he wrote himself two years earlier. Additionally, he has been included in nine volumes of Who's Who in American Law and three editions of Who's Who in the World. Although he was the first in his family to become an attorney, he knew from an early age that he would excel at it, and his notable career proves it.
