Marcy Grau has been a leader in her fields as a commodities trader and later a real estate broker since establishing her career in 1975. Today she excels in her role as a broker for Stribling & Associates, a luxury real estate firm specializing in New York City condos, co-ops and townhouses. She has worked in this field for the past 20 years. Ms. Grau began her financial career at J. Aron & Co. which was subsequently acquired by Goldman Sachs, where she was one of the first women to trade commodities in New York and became vice president of Goldman Sachs. In recognition of her professional excellence over more than four decades, Ms. Grau was selected for inclusion into Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
Ms. Grau has also taken on opportunities outside of her industry to make an impact on society. She served as the President of the Board of Congregation B'nai Jeshurun on Manhattan's Upper West Side and has been involved in the New York Women's Foundation, the Association to Benefit Children, Planned Parenthood as well as Brotherhood Sisterhood Sol.
Ms. Grau graduated from the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with high honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society. She also did graduate work at Columbia University.
