For nearly five decades, Ms. Lynch has made an impact in the professional arena. She was also appointed to two Governor's Task Forces on victims of violent crime. Ms. Lynch then became an assistant to the deputy director for the Metro Dade Department of Human Resources and assistant administrator of the Department's placement services program, where she first began assisting those affected by HIV/AIDS.

In 1989 Ms. Lynch became Executive Director of Health Crisis Network, one of the primary non-profit organizations assisting people affected by HIV/AIDS, spearheading educational and counseling innovations. She was appointed to the Education Review Committee for AmFAR, the Governor's Red Ribbon Panel on HIV/AIDS and the Review Panel for Special Projects of National Significance, Health Resources and Services Administration. In 1996 she joined the State of Florida Health and Rehabilitation Services, where she served in the role of liaison for HIV community service, a position she held for a year. Subsequently, she worked as the program operations administrator for adult protective services for the Florida Department of Children and Families, the director of grants management for the University of Miami School of Nursing, giving and grants manager for Audubon of Florida, and director of development services for Miami Children's Hospital Foundation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lynch has won a variety of awards, including WINZ Citizen of the Day, the Outstanding Achievement Award from Florida Network Victim Witness Services and a Pioneer Award from the Metro-Dade Women's Association. She has also been included in Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.
