Driven by his passion for education, Mr. Genini devoted his career to sharing his knowledge with others. He spent nearly three and a half decades as a history teacher for the Central Unified School District, beginning in 1970 and ending with his retirement in 2004. He has also made guest appearances on television shows, including the History Channel's "UFO Hotspots" in 2003.
A certified secondary education teacher and an alumnus of the University of San Francisco, Mr. Genini holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts. He has written numerous creative works over the years, including "Darn Right It's Butch," in 1994, "Theda Bara," in 1996, and "California: On the Edge of American History," which will be published in the summer of 2017. He also served as the editorial assistant for Conrad Black's "The Invincible Quest" and "Fight of the Eagle."
Notably, Mr. Genini has won many awards for his hard work and dedication. In 1978, he was named one of the Outstanding Young Educators in America through the Fresno Jaycees, and in the mid-1990s, Mr. Genini was recognized by the California State Assembly for teaching. Additionally, he has been featured in 13 editions of Who's Who in the World, and one edition each of Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
