KENT, OH, April 26, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Audrey Ann Cielinski-Kessler has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With more than three and a half decades of industry experience, Ms. Cielinski-Kessler is uniquely qualified to oversee a wide range of tasks as a publishing executive, small business owner and writer. Prior to entering the field in 1979, she earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas. Upon graduation, she freelanced for Medical World News magazine. The following year, she moved to the Journal of Health and Social Behavior as an editorial assistant and secretary for Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry. After working as a procedures analyst, technical writer and technical librarian for the Harris County Data Processing Department from 1981 until 1983, she returned to Medical World News magazine for a year in the role of assistant copy chief. In the late 1980s, she served as the technical writer and editor for the Houston Police Department's Office of Planning and Research. She then joined Chevron Exploration and Production Services Co. as a technical writer for two years before starting The Write Hand of Ohio. Currently, she works as the owner of The Write Hand Ohio, as a freelance technical writer and general writer and editor. She also works full time for Lincoln Learning Solutions in Rochester, Pennsylvania, as an editor of online curriculum and freelances for the Akron Beacon Journal.
Throughout the course of her notable career, Ms. Cielinski-Kessler has parlayed her knowledge into a variety of creative works, including newsletters such as "Signals," "CEPS Synergy," "Insights," "Steps & Specs," "Kent Environmental Council Newsletter, and "The Voter."
She has also been honored with numerous awards, including the Chief's Command Employee of the Month Award in 1989. Ms. Cielinski-Kessler has been featured in Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
During her spare time, Ms. Cielinski-Kessler enjoys giving back to her community through such as organizations as the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County (chair of Finance Committee), Kent Environmental Council (board member and Communications and PR Committee), Kent Historical Society (board member and board secretary), Catholic Charities of Portage County (former member and past president and past vice president), Northeast Ohio Consortium Council of Governments (former member), Portage County Board of Building Appeals, city of Kent Board of Zoning Appeals (former member and past chair and past vice chair), Portage County Housing Services Council, city of Kent Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council, and the Akron Metropolitan Areas Transportation Study Citizens Involvement Committee.
When not attending board meetings, she is active in her church, St. Patrick (Kent) serving as a lector and Eucharistic minister, playing the oboe and attending the John Mack Oboe Camp in North Carolina in the summer. She plans to join the Kent State University Communiversity Band.
