In addition to her status as a Lifetime Achiever, Ms. Novack has received numerous other honors, including, from Molloy College, faculty scholarship and publication awards and a Millennium Author citation. She also received awards from the Nassau County Poet Laureate Society, awards for her contributions to anthologies, and the Editor's Special Recognition Award for Best Poem in "In Other Words" poetry anthology. She won the Long Island Poetry Collective/Xanadu Poetry Contest and received honors for poetry from the Lake Ronkonkoma Historical Society. Additionally, she won the First Place Prize in the 7th Annual Poetry Competition, sponsored by the Cultural Arts Center at Mid-Island Y/JCC, Plainview, NY (funded by the New York State Council on the Arts). She also received honors from Alms House Press, a Nassau Review Poetry Prize, a Teachers USA Award and Teachers as Writers Award. In addition to anthologies, her work has appeared in literary journals, books, newspapers, and other print and online publications, and has been exhibited in the Molloy College Art Gallery. Among her books are the poetry collections "Something Like Life" and "Do Houses Dream?" and the novel "J.W. Valentine."
