He has also worked for distinguished firms, including Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin & Kahn from 1994 to 1995, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur from 1996 to 2001, Brayn Cave from 2002 to 2003, and Dorsey & Whitney from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Fisher also met with success as chairman of Omni Advisors LLC, managing partner of Capital House, and managing partner of JJ&B LLC. To share his expertise and insights with emerging professionals in the field of law, Dr. Fisher has taken on adjunct teaching opportunities with various colleges throughout his career. He was a professor of international relations at Georgetown University, professional lecturer on international relations at Johns Hopkins University, and he taught courses at George Mason University, George Washington University and Syracuse University.
In recognition of his professional excellence, Dr. Fisher was the recipient of a dean's certificate of appreciation from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Services. He served on the board of governors for the international law section of the Virginia State Bar and he currently sits on the board of directors for the Osgood Center of International Studies. In addition, Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
