Knowing that the written word will outlast her face-to-face ministry impact, Dr. Osborn has written and published numerous books.
TULSA, OK, May 24, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- La Donna Osborn has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. A visionary, an inspiration and a leader: these are the words that women professionals in Oklahoma have been using to describe Dr. LaDonna Osborn for the last five decades. In 2003, she established the Women's International Network (WIN), a ministry that provides specialized encouragement, education and equipping of women for Christian ministry. "While there are many Bible Schools and Seminaries that train people for ministry, WIN is unique in its commitment to empower the woman for effective ministry in all areas of Christian service," says Dr. Osborn, who is driven to encourage women ministers because of the influence that her own mother, Dr. Daisy Washburn-Osborn (also a minister) had upon her. Since childhood, Dr. Osborn has been aware of the issues and challenges that women face around the world, and made it her life's goal to help others. In recognition of her professional excellence over a lifetime, she was recently selected for inclusion into Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in Religion, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who's Who in America.
Throughout her ministry career, Dr. Osborn accepted opportunities that took her around the world. She has been an international minister, religious teacher and motivational speaker in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Colombia, Honduras, Papua New Guinea, France, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Sweden, England, Brazil, Holland, Ecuador, China, Brazil, Madagascar, Indonesia and South Africa, and this is only a short list of countries where her ministry has had an impact. During this time, Dr. Osborn created the International Gospel Fellowship to connect people of faith from all walks of life around the globe. Knowing that the written word will outlast her face-to-face ministry impact, Dr. Osborn has written and published numerous books, including "Jesus & Women" (2000), "God's Big Picture" (2001), "Cross-Cultural Communication in a Multicultural Church" (2002), "New Miracle Life Now" (2004), "Peace is a Lifestyle" (2005), "10 Gospel Basics" (2008), "Chaos of Miracles" (2011), "Jesus is Touching Soshanguve" (2012), "Unknown But Not Forgotten" (2012), and "Give Thanks" (2012).
Dr. Osborn feels that even after 50 years, her work has just begun. She looks forward to many additional years in order to encourage, educate and equip women for all areas of Christian ministry.
