About Dr. Thomas Joel Buckholtz
Dr. Buckholtz has proven himself an adept and innovative thinker, capable of creating and fostering useful results. He became involved in various fields and endeavors largely due to his desire to make significant contributions, a feat that he handily achieved during his career. Organizations for which he has worked include Oracle, the United States General Services Administration, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Friends Amis, Berkeley Technical Associates, Insurance Technology Company, and Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC. He has shared his expertise as an instructor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and as a professorial lecturer at George Washington University.

Dr. Buckholtz has been a member of advisory boards for academic institutions as well as government entities such as the United States Department of Commerce and the President's Council on Competitiveness. He has also been involved with the Committee for Economic Development, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and the California Institute of Technology's Caltech Fund.

Dr. Buckholtz is the author of "Unitedly Broadened Physics: Toward One Theory for Elementary Particles, Objects, and the Cosmos" (2017), "Models for Physics of the Very Small and Very Large" (2016), "Create Crucial Insight: Use Direct Outcomes checklists. Think well. Do great." (2011), "Innovate Incisively: Gain Impact. Save Time." (2007) and "Information Proficiency: Your Key to the Information Age" (1995), He has also contributed articles to computer science, physics and mathematics journals. From 2001-2011 he was a co-host and co-producer of the TV program "Issues Today."

When asked about some of his proudest accomplishments, Dr. Buckholtz's main challenge was containing his list. Some of these achievements include the establishment of three information-technology marketplace business practices, including the enterprise software license and the Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). He catalyzed a grassroots innovation program throughout a 27,000-person energy utility. Additionally, he helped pioneer three information technologies. He was also integral in the development of a grassroots line of business for the national committee of an American political party. Dr. Buckholtz's work has spanned the fields of information technology, business, political science, and even particle physics, as he proposed a new theory of physics that includes the prediction of elementary particles. This theory, if proved, would make great strides toward unraveling the current mysteries of dark matter and dark energy and toward integrating physics theories.

Apart from his contributions to the business world, Dr. Buckholtz has fostered positive results regarding the environment and society in general. Thanks to his concept, seven kilometers of Pacific coastline, now known as the Palos Verdes Estates Shoreline Preserve, were successfully preserved, and his work for the United States federal government has resulted in improved service, from all levels of government, for the American people. Also, he proposed the idea for a worldwide Rotary International service program, known as the Donations-In-Kind Information Network.

Dr. Buckholtz is the founder of T.J. Buckholtz & Associates, a consultancy designed to support businesses by providing robust innovation strategies and tools. Early in his career, he received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds certificates of completion from the University of Michigan's Public Utility Executive Program and Stanford University's Financial Management and Engineering Economy for Public Utilities Program.

In addition to his status as a Lifetime Achiever, Dr. Buckholtz has previously received a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Senate and a Graduate Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. He has been a featured listee in Who's Who In Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.
