Financial expert William Lickle currently serves as president of Renwil Corp. and consulting editor for Lickle Publishing (now part of Charlesbridge Publishing of Boston). He founded Lickle Publishing in 1995 and served as its president until 2006. He has also served as Director Emeritus of Christiana Care Health System since 1987.

Mr. Lickle's 35-year career in finance included positions with JPMorgan International Holdings, now JP Morgan Chase & Co. (Chairman, 1989-1993), the Florida Division of JPMorgan (Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, 1989-1993), and the Delaware Division of JPMorgan (Vice Chairman, 1989-1992). He also held roles with Delaware Trust Company, now Wells Fargo (Chairman and CEO, 1977-1988), Dean Witter & Company, Inc., now Morgan Stanley (Director, Senior Vice President, 1973-1977), Laird Bissell & Meeds, now Morgan Stanley (Chairman and CEO, 1957-1973), Niront & Company (Vice President, 1955-1957), Wheelock & Lickle Real Estate (Partner, 1955-1957), and Laird & Company (Stockbroker, 1955-1957). He attained an LLB and JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA from the University of Virginia. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar Association in 1953, the American Bar Association in 1953 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 2012.

His expertise in finance led to his being named Ronald Reagan's Appointee to the Export Council (1988-1989), Director of the Florida Division as well as overall Director of Bessemer Trust (1974-1988; 1983-1988), Director of Lehman Trust Company of Delaware (2007-2008), Adviser to Marvin & Palmer Associates, Inc. Mr. Lickle's civic involvement over the years is notable. He served on the Board of Managers for the University of Virginia's Alumni Association (1987-1994), as President of the university's Board of Managers (1992-1993), and as Director Emeritus and Vice Chairman of the University of Virginia's Jefferson Scholars Program (1985-1998). He also served as a Trustee of Thomas Jefferson University Medical College (1971-1978) and The Ethel Walker School (1977-1979) and on Rollins College's National Advisory Committee (1973-1976).

William Lickle also gave back to his community by serving as Director of the United Community Fund of Delaware (1960-1962), Founder of the Delaware Community Foundation (1987), Vice Chairman and Founder of the Better Business Bureau of Delaware (1972), Director and Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Club of Wilmington (1963-1983), Director of the Delaware Museum of Natural History (1974-1981), Trustee of Winterthur Museum's Garden & Library (1989-1994), Trustee of the Grand Opera House (1986-1990), Trustee and Chairman of the Brandywine River Museum of Art's Development Committee (1982-1988), and Commissioner of the New Castle County Airport (1964-1969) and the New Castle County Transportation Commission (1967-1969). Mr. Lickle also served as Director and Treasurer of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Delaware, now Highmark, Inc., from 1963-1968, Founder and Chairman of the Delaware Cancer Network's Finance Committee from 1975-1977, and Director and Chairman of Wilmington Medical Center's Finance Committee from 1965-1983.

In 1988, he served as Director of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Finance Committee when the King of Sweden visited the state. Other positions include consultant to the Max Planck Foundation (2012-2015) and Special Gifts Chairman for the American Cancer Society (1968). Mr. Lickle was a member of the Delaware Chamber of Commerce from 1979-1980.

Upon moving to Florida, Mr. Lickle became an Honorary Trustee of the Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach, and served as Director of Planned Parenthood of Palm Beach (1981-1985). He was also Director of the Palm Beach Civic Association (1989-1991) and Director of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (1990-1995).

Mr. Lickle's interest in politics goes back to 1956 when he served on the Finance Committee for Citizens for Eisenhower Delaware. In 1960, he served as Finance Chairman of Volunteers for Nixon Delaware. In 1964, he was the Statewide Coordinator for Delaware for Goldwater, and in 1966 and 1968, Mr. Lickle was a member of the Steering Committee for the Delaware Campaign for Senator William V. Roth. From 1964 to 1968, he was an Executive Committee Member and Treasurer for the State of Delaware's Republican Party. In 1980, he helped raise funds for President Reagan's 1980 election campaign, and from 1985 to 1988, he was a member of The Delaware Roundtable. He also served as an adviser to Governor Michael Castle regarding economic development of the state from 1987 to 1992.
