BUFFALO, NY, June 15, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ms. Cynthia Ellison Mehary has been included in Marquis Who's Who. After accruing many years of practiced experience, Ms. Mehary retired from the field of teaching and educational administration from the Buffalo Public School System. She started her career by earning an Associate in Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1963 and 1965, respectively, and a Master of Arts from Western Michigan State University in 1971. Ms. Mehary proceeded to garner hands-on experience not only as a teacher but also as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia, Africa. After returning to the U.S., she began teaching at Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, while serving as part-time lecturer at Erie Community College, Buffalo, NY. Later on she accepted the position as adjunct professor at Buffalo State College as she gained further experience in her career as a business educator. As full-time lecturer with Bryant and Stratton Business Institute she further advanced her knowledge and skills as a true educator.
In order to keep abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Mehary affiliates herself with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Business Education Association, the American Association of University Women, and the Business Teachers Association of New York State. She also earned a Certificate in Advanced Studies from Buffalo State College in 1991. Notably, Ms. Mehary has been recognized many times for her professional work. Since the early-1990s, she has been featured in one edition of Who's Who Among Human Services Professionals, one of Who's Who in America, two of Who's Who in American Education, and one of Who's Who of American Women.
