Her work has been featured in such prestigious journals as the Journal of Material Science: Materials in Medicine, the Journal of the American Dental Association, and the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
Notably, Dr. Bienek has received many awards for her efforts in the scientific community, including the American Society of Parasitologists Prize from the Canadian Society of Zoologists, which she achieved two consecutive years (1997 and 1998). Additionally, she has been featured in the 11th edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, eight editions of Who's Who in the World, and two editions of Who's Who of American Women.
