Combining his love for law with engineering, he has been blessed with a wonderful career that has spanned more than 40 years. After first completing a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, Mr. Johnson went on to pursue a JD, completing his law degree in 1980 at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Becoming certified by the Bar of Nebraska that same year, he also became certified by the U.S. District Court in Nebraska and a Registered Professional Engineer.
Beginning his career right out of college in 1974, Mr. Johnson worked for DuPont in Cleveland, Ohio as a project engineer and later for Exxon Chemicals in the same capacity. He then moved into a cost engineer role with Exxon before taking on an opportunity to work for InterNorth, Inc. in Omaha, Neb., first as a senior engineer, then market planner, corporate planner, and business manager. Working with several other companies before landing a position with his current employer, General Dynamics, he was a manager, turned senior program manager, and today is a senior manager of supply chain management.

Serving his organization in the most efficient and effective ways possible, Mr. Johnson stays current as a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Nebraska Bar Association, the Lincoln Bar Association, Triangle, Sigma Tau, Pi Tau Sigma, and Phi Eta Sigma. He also enjoys time well spent with his wife of 42 years, Pamela Jane Tomlinson, with whom they share five adult children.
