At the start of his career, he served as a properties artisan for South Coast Repertory before moving on to the positions of technical director and instructor for Northern Arizona University.
A graduate of Copiah Lincoln Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi, Mr. Douglas holds an Associate of Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a Master of Fine Arts. Throughout his career, he has contributed his expertise to stage plays, including "A Cowboy Christmas Carol," "The Gospel," "Old African," "Ajax," "The Whore of Babylon," and "The Princess and the Dragon," all of which he wrote. In addition to his many professional and personal accomplishments, Mr. Douglas has won many awards over the course of his many years in the field. He was named an Outstanding Scenic Design Teaching Artist through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Additionally, he has been featured in four editions of Who's Who in the World and six editions of Who's Who in America.
