Ms. Menard Post is most proud of giving back to her community, raising her five children, and representing the great state of Alaska, for which she received the First Lady Award from Ermilee Hickel. She was also named First Lady of Matanuska-Susitna College.
A graduate of the University of Alaska, Ms. Menard Post holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education with a major in psychology and a minor in music. Her additional professional affiliations include the Wasilla Chamber of Commerce, through which she won the Citizen of the Year Award in 1999, and the Alaskan chapter of the American Cancer Society, where she served as president. Furthermore, she is a member of the Alaska Antique Tractor Club and has driven tractors in local parades. She has been recognized many times for her cumulative work in the field of government administration. In addition to winning the Henry Jall Fellowship Award in 1994 and being named the first Champion for Children in 2007, Ms. Menard Post has been featured in numerous volumes of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Politics, Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.
